Aistikanavapohjaisesti eriytetyn verkko-oppimisympäristön analyysi

Tutkimuksessa analysoidaan verkko-oppimisympäristön oppimateriaalin eriyttämistä aistikanavapohjaisesti. Oppimateriaalin eriyttämiseen käytetään VARK-miellejärjestelmämallia, joka pyrkii tukemaan oppilaan oppimismieltymyksiä luokittelemalla kyselyn avulla oppilaat visuaalisen, auditiivisen, lukija–kirjoittaja- ja kinesteettisen aistipreferenssin mukaan ja tarjoamalla luokittelun perusteella heille erilaisia oppimisstrategioita. Personalization of immediate feedback to learning styles

2007

Feedback provided to a user is an important part of learning and interaction in e-learning systems. In this paper we present the results of our pilot experiment aimed to study interrelation between several types of immediate feedback presentation and learning styles (LSs) of users. In the experiment we used the feedback supported by quiz module of moodle learning system. The obtained results demonstrate tendencies in interrelation between LS and immediate/summative feedback presentation and we suggest three hypotheses for future research.

Feedback is information that is provided to a user to inform him/her about the result of his/her action and to motivate him/her to further interact with the system. In web-based learning systems (WBLS), feedback is particularly important in test and evaluation tasks. The main objective of the paper is twofold: (1) to encourage WBLS designers and specialists to pay more attention to the problem of feedback adaptation, and (2) to analyze suggestions for feedback personalization to learning styles in a WBLS.

Drawing Cartoon Strips as a Learning Tool in Fostering the Learning of Titration in Pre-service Chemistry Education

In this study, static visual displays of titration created by the university-level pre-service chemistry education students was investigated. The aim for the students was to learn the theory of titrations, using self-prepared cartoon strips with supportive texts. Attention was paid to the titration cartoon strips students made which were suitable for both learning and teaching purposes. Assessment preferences of preservice teachers: analysis according to academic level and relationship with learning styles and motivational orientation

This study analyze the preferences of preservice teachers about different assessment procedures, and the relationship of these preferences with the students’ academic levels, learning styles and motivational orientations. The participants were 248 students in the Teaching degree program (124 first-year students and 124 in their third-year). The results confirmed that the preferences were structured on the basis of two orthogonal dimensions (preferences for conventional and non-conventional methods). [ES] El objetivo de este trabajo era concretar el perfil de los alumnos excelentes en la universidad, de cara a precisar modelos eficaces de funcionamiento que se pudieran generalizar y enseñar, en la medida de lo posible. Para ello se recogieron datos de varios grupos de alumnos de 1º de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia con las mejores notas de entrada de diferentes titulaciones cuyos resultados se compararon con los de alumnos de calificaciones medias.
